February 2008
Action Circuits have added an MT50 reeling machine with automated vision inspection to compliment the existing range of tape & reeling machines. This addition brings the total number of reeling machines to 12, giving us unrivalled capacity to reel components for our customers standard production requirements and line stop situations.

We have added a Hi-Lo Systems AT3-300A Automated handler to our range of automated handlers. This machine offers high volume programming of devices, with inputs from reel or tray, and outputs to reel or tray.

 

April 2006
- Action Circuits are pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO/TS16949:2002 certification. For Action Circuits, compliance with the ISO/TS16949 standard opens up a major opportunity to increase it’s market share in microchip programming and SMD reeling in the automotive sector.

 

November 2005
- Due to continued expansion, we have just invested in a system upgrade to a BP Microsystems BP4610 automated handler.

In January 2006 we are upgrading an existing BP4500 handler to a BP Microsystems BP4710 automated handler, which will give us unrivalled capacity to program devices.

 

October 2004
- Action Circuits have added an RVSI ST595-2 automatic media transfer taping machine with 3D vision to complement the existing range of taping machines. This addition brings the number of device tape & reeling stations to 5 fully automated and 5 semi automated

July 2004
Action Circuits moved on the 2nd July 2004 to new 25,000sq ft premises. This is part of a £2m investment program to ensure we remain in a position to offer world class services. Added to our range of services will be ICOS 3D inspection and Automated Lead reformation services. The Leadstar equipment is widely used by Silicon manufacturers.

We are now operating 12 fully automated programming & reeling machines, 3 laser marking stations and have most recently invested in the latest BP4700 programming system from BP Microsystems.

January 2004
Action Circuits are the first in the UK to invest in the latest BP4700 automated handler from BP Microsystems. This brings our investment in automated device handlers to a total of 11 machines.

The East of England Development agency (EEDA) have agreed a six figure grant to assist in the relocation of Action Circuits to our new purpose built facility in Luton.

Action Circuits have been approved as the sole UK programming and reeling centre for Xilinx semiconductors.

July 2003
Action Circuits have invested in automated lead scanning and repair equipment in the form of an ICOS LI7250 Lead Inspection system, capabable of 3D coplanarity inspection of devices at a rate of 5000uph, and a Leadstar 800, which is capable of high volume lead reformation of QFP and TSOP packaged devices.

September 1995
Action Circuits have been approved as the only Altera MAX + QFP independent programming and handling centre in Europe. Investment has been made in the Altera chip carrier removal tool, for automated transfer of devices from the Altera carrier to jedec waffle trays.
